Bravo + Metal have powers. Powers are not the norm, so they attempt (poorly) to hide them. They do not know that the others have powers.

Well, reader, it is because they are all collectively So Very Stupid. In their efforts to conceal their own powers, they render themselves Oblivious to each other's powers.

Who does know about these idiots and their powers? Blackburn. The man is fucking SUFFERING. He knows exactly what's going on and is not stepping in ONLY because there is a massive betting pool with the s/o's to figure out when they all figure it out.

Trent and Metal know each other's (they're dating), but are under the impression they're the only two and it's.. guys... it's so painful to watch. Their excuses for each other are. So. Bad. It's incredible that neither have them have had the other brought in for an emergency psych checkup.

Also Brian is alive but injured (& dating Clay) because I say so and he's in a Davis role because I also say so, also very much aware of everything that is going on and is LIVING for it.

Brian has a whiteboard with a "Stupid Almost Power Reveal" tally and he's started having to erase previous tallies and just write it in 10s (eg erasing 20 marks and just adding 20 to the written score) because this is... incredible amounts of denial from truly everyone.

Does the rest of DEVGRU have powers? Maybe! Who knows? Not Bravo!! Those guys are OBLIVIOUS. The last time Clay lost his temper and yelled, everything fell off the walls and they thought that a mini-earthquake just Happened to happen at the same time. Blackburn screamed into Lisa's shoulder that night. They also drank A Lot of alcohol.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?): Clay’s very affectionate. He loves hugging and being physically close to you, while also giving you compliments every time he can.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?): Jokes at your expense, drinking beers, practical jokes, going on outings with him such as amusement parks and paintball.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?): He likes to cuddle, he prefers to have your legs intertwined with his, with your head on his chest, but also loves being the little spoon, especially on rough days.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?): Clay’s been very vocal about one day wanting to settle down and have a family. He wants to be the absolute opposite of his father, who was a deadbeat. He’s not the best cook, but he can clean and keep a nice, organized space.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?): Face to face, short and to the point. He wouldn’t sugar coat it, and would probably have your stuff packed and ready for you ahead of time so he doesn’t have to see you again.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?): There’s not a time limit, he’ll do it as soon as he knows you’re the one. He doesn’t want to waste time, he’s much rather get it done and show you how he feels rather than waiting for years when he’s known in months.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?): He doesn’t sugar coat anything, so he may not be gentle emotionally, but he’s always careful not to accidentally hurt you physically, constantly making sure you’re okay with anything physically he’s doing.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?): He’s not much of a hugger, rather he likes to just constantly keep his arm around you. If he does hug, he loves coming up from behind and hugging you, his arms going around your waist.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?): 2 months? He doesn’t like to say it until he’s sure that’s what he’s feeling, because he’d rather be genuine than anything else.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?): He’s the jealous type, especially if you’re spending a lot of time with one person while he’s gone. He worries that when he’s on deployment for that long that you’ll find someone better, someone who can give you more attention than he can.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?): his kisses are long, and passion filled. He doesn’t like pecks, as they don’t carry the same amount of feeling, he’d much rather kiss you as long and as urgent as he’s feeling in that moment.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?): Clay really enjoys children, and will play with them and tell them stories whenever he can. They like sitting in his lap as he reads to them, or play wrestling with him as he lets them win from time to time.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?): He’s go for a run, which you can join in on, and then get your coffee and breakfast order at his regular coffee shop, enjoying your presence in his apartment. Sometimes he’d stay in with you, cuddling up with you or the occasional morning quickie.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?): Either at the bar or on a date, then home to cuddle, watch a movie and possibly some sex to end the night.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?): He would slowly start revealing things to you overtime. He’s been burned before, and a lot of his life is secret, so he needs to know you’re trustworthy before letting you in fully. Once he does, though, he lets you know everything: his past, his trauma, his fears, etc.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?): He’s patient up to a point. He has a temper, and when it flares he’s very opinionated about it. He would take his time with you up until the point where he thinks you’re stringing him along, and then he’s done.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?): Clay remembers all the little things. He remembers the coffee order from the first time you ordered it, to the passing comment that you saw your favorite flower at the supermarket. He’s hardly ever home, so he makes up for it by remembering all the little things and surprising you with your favorites when he can.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?): His favorite moment with you is when you said “I love you” for the first time. It was in that moment that he had the confirmation that you were feeling just what he was feeling as well.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?): He’s very protective of you. He’d purposely get in the way of anyone trying to mess with you, and while he’d rather not use violence stateside, he’s not afraid to.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?): Clay would take time into anniversaries and gifts, especially if he fucked up somehow. He liked making you feel special, especially on days that are important and especially if he has to miss them.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?): Stubborn, can leave the apartment a mess, etc.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?): Clay likes to keep himself trimmed and clean at all times if he can. He likes taking care of himself and his body, especially because he knows he’s attractive.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?): You not being with him, whether in death or being broken up or whatever, he feels a void. It takes him a while to get back to himself if you’re not with him

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.): He spends a lot of time outdoors, fishing and other activities. He hates being cooped up in his apartment for a long time, especially with nothing to do.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?): Dishonesty, being blindsided, someone who can’t take a joke, someone who’s too uptight.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?): He can stay up late, but he’s an early riser at heart. He has a routine he likes to stick to, so he can feel nice and ready for whatever hell work is bringing him.

You knew and he knew it was a big step in your relationship

Your time together thus far wasn’t the smoothest of rides

Sonny had a short temper and he was pretty hard to be around sometimes

But you learnt quickly that he was that way because of his past

He was scared of being left and abandoned

So you decided to commit to him

You were not ready to marry Sonny

So you decided that moving in together was the best, most logical step to take

It was actually his idea

Even if it was a big step, but you were dedicated to him

And he was dedicated to you, not as much as he was Bravo team

But that was something you accepted early on in your relationship

The days when Sonny wasn’t deployed were pure bliss

Waking up to his strong arms wrapped you

His beard tickling your cheek

Every morning you woke up to a “good morning sunshine”

That made up for the mornings you woke up alone

But Sonny always left you his dog tags

So when he was away, you had a piece of him

Clay mostly stayed over at your place anyway

When he got back late, your house was his first stop, no matter how late it was

At the start he always used to pick your lock

So you decided to just give him a key

And he took that as a ‘bring all your stuff over’ gesture

So that’s exactly what he done

Slowly, as each day passed you had more of Clay’s stuff in your apartment than yours

But honestly, you wouldn’t change it for the world

You loved listening to the stories he would tell you of his deployment, and the jokes and nicknames that Sonny called him

He was a fairly open and honest guy

So when you asked him how the deployment went

He would always give you a straight answer

That’s how your nights were spent

Sometimes, he would ask you to tell him stories of your childhood

He loved listening to you talk

And his blue eyes would always light up whenever you looked at him

Clay moving in was definitely the best thing to happen to you, and him

And the guys always reminded you of that whenever you saw them

What Gets them Flustered Headcanon with Clay Spenser Flustered/Confused/Agitated. The thing that gets Clay flustered is when he can't remember a certain word or name of something, but knows the name of it in another language, the team ends up playing a game of charades as Clay describes what he's talking about, or when he forgets about the point he is trying to make in a briefing. If he's training, the thing that confused him, is when he can't get a door to open, only for Blackburn to shout 'INDEX' and then show its a pull door and not a push.

There have been multiple headcanons/AUs created by other brilliant minds on this ship pertaining to “SEAL Team’’ (including one where Maddie and Buck have a Jason-Hughes-type older brother and an other where Clay Spenser is Buck’s estranged husband who outs him to the 118 by needing him to sign divorce papers so he can marry some one else).

Now that show is out here telling us that they’ve named Bravo Team’s former (fallen) team leader Eddie Guzman in an episode that aired just days before “9-1-1” airs the episode that prompts “Eddie Begins” wherein Ryan Guzman will depict his character, Eddie Diaz, and portray what he dealt with while stationed overseas when Bravo Team is currently stationed in those exact same overseas?

Down Under: SEAL Team Mini-Fic

"Stupid freaking swamp with stupid freaking water and stupid flies and stupid plants-"

Sonny didn't like swamps. This was a pretty established fact. In fact, he generally didn't like anything that wasn't sunshine Texas. Virginia was apparently 'approved' but that was on thin ice. Clay has long since stopped responding with something witty, the rest of Bravo long before that.

Sonny opened his mouth to begin another string of complaints when Jason interrupts. "Six, go to overwatch, we're 10 mikes out." Clay nods and breathes a fake sigh of relief as he walks away from Sonny. He sees a jokingly jealous look from Brock, and Trent's only half trying to hide a laugh.

His feet sink into the damp ground as he walks, steel toes disappearing under murky water before reappearing the next second. He thanks everything under the sun – and a couple things above it – that he's wearing waterproof boots and trousers. That would change this op from annoying to downright miserable. He reaches the overwatch point and begins to settle down, rifle resting on a line of rocks jutting out the muddy ground. He lies stomach-down, and keys his radio to confirm with Jace that he's in position and gives them the all-clear to breach when a guard turns his back on their infil point. The op goes as well as can be expected from a fortress in the middle of a swamp.

That is, of course, until Jace radios to report that they're beginning exfil and Clay lifts his rifle off the rocks. Suddenly the line of rocks twists and Clay is face to face with the open jaw of a crocodile coming full-pelt towards his face. Only years of honing his instincts allows him to drop his rifle and grab the top and bottom jaw in sperate hands, pushing them together with as much force as he can muster. The jaw slams closed only a few inches from his face and he lets out a shuddering breath, keeping his hands tightly pressed together.

Oh shit. Holy fucking shit.

He's been resting on a goddamn crocodile for the better part of half an hour. And then that crocodile tried to eat his face. Oh my god.

The croc tries to open his mouth but the opening force isn't necessarily that powerful so Clay takes a few moments to move the jaw into his right hand, his left moving to key his radio. Now he's had a second to look at the croc, he sees that it's not as big as he expected, probably still the equivalent of a teen.

"All Bravo elements, be aware that there are crocodiles in this swamp." There's a second of pause where Clay really, deeply questions how life has come to this before, "and you can hold their jaws closed with one hand."

It only takes a few moments for Jace to respond in an exasperated tone that would make Adam Seiver proud "6, this is 1. How did you discover this?"

Clay looks down at the crocodile in disbelief. The croc blinks angrily at him. He keys the radio again "1, this is 6. How the hell do you think I found out." He slings the rifle over his back because his other hand is kind of occupied right now and pulls his sidearm out.

"6, 1. 3 and 4 are headed your way to deal with-" another pause here, and Clay can imagine Jace running his hand down his face – which Clay would be doing if he had a free hand that wasn't holding a crocodile jaw closed what the hell is his life "-your wildlife problem."

He's left for a few minutes looking down at this crocodile while it looks back up at him. The sound of squelching approaching echoes through the swamp and he looks over to see Sonny and Trent trudging over to where he's sat with the crocodile.

Trent shouts out before they reach him, "You alright?"

"Other than the crocodile in my- stop fighting we'll release you in a second- hands I'm doing pretty okay. All things considered."

"All things considered." Sonny echoes, looking doubtfully down at the pair in the mud.

"Look, can you guys just, just pick him up and help me get rid of him before my grip fails me."

"Yeah okay, Sonny pick up his back half."

"You want me to pick up a croc's butt!?"

"Would you rather be closer to the jaw?"

"…"

"That's what I thought, now pick him up."

Dating Clay Spenser ~Headcanons

Anonymous requested: “ Could you do what it would be like to date clay Spenser pls?”

A/N: so this would have been out faster, but tumblr ate the draft, so now I have to start over. Regardless, I hope you enjoy it!

TW: mentions of war, mentions of injuries, mentions of deployment

-Clay would want to take you on a first date where you can have his undivided attention. Probably a hole-in-the-wall restaurant he found when he first moved to VA Beach and then a bookstore or something

- Real talk, relationships with servicemen move fast, usually bc they understand the importances of living life to the fullest bc you can die the next day

- Which is why Clay had intense feelings, so much so that he said “I love you” within the first two months of dating. He was oaky with the fact it might have been too soon for you, he understood that you didn’t have the same feeling quite yet bc it was so early on in the relationship

-But my god you would have thought you told him he won the lottery once you did tell him

- He’s 1000% a cuddly monster when he’s home. He wants to be held or holding you in some way, shape for form 

- Skype dates when he’s deployed and hearing Brock or Sonny bitching in the background about how you two talk more that Ray and Naima

-Becoming friends with Naima and helping out with the kiddos, going over there when you need reassurance that Clay’s going to be okay

-Becoming friends with Lisa due to the Sonny and Davis thing (the first time), and being pissed at the both of them for breaking up

- Clay wouldn’t be the type to give a damn about people knowing how much he loves you. PDA? The boy will grab your ass in public, have a hand on your thigh, have an arm around you at all times. 

- Listening to him tell you about his childhood and hating Ash Spenser with every cell in your being

- Make out sessions on the couch during movie nights. It always starts out innocent, he gets bored with whatever action movie he put on and starts kissing your cheek, your neck, down to your shoulder until you pay attention to him. Next thing you know the movie is over and you’re straddling him

-Going to the team’s barbeques and listening to some of the stories they tell. Clay tries to shield you from most of the dangerous things he does, though he knows you’re not an idiot or a damsel in distress, because he doesn’t want to worry you every time he’s on a mission

- Rainy days on the rare weekend he’s off where you two just cuddle up on the couch and read books, even though most of his will be in a foreign language

-Learning from Trent how to patch of his minor injuries when he comes home from being spun-up.

-learning quickly that even if he’s off the clock, if one of his brothers need him then your plans are toast. Those warriors of men are his herd and you can’t, nor will you try, to break them apart.

-Occasionally fighting because of how many days out of the year he’s unavailable to you. You know logically he can’t control it but you can’t stop how you feel, and you shouldn’t have to hide it from him either.

-wearing his favorite shirt he “accidentally” leaves when he goes on deployment, because he knows it brings you comfort

Irrelevant SEAL Team rambling posted here instead of my personal bc it’s somewhat relevant thanks to the SEAL Team verse I have here -- in fact, I’m gonna call it a headcanon since we’ll be loosely following the show’s plots anyway.  Just replace Clay with Dylan I guess.

I have a lot of feelings about how much Clay looked out for Jason in 1x21.  It makes a lot of sense he would’ve been promoted to Bravo 2 and stepped up when Ray was suspended from the team instead of Sonny -- Sonny was making irrational decisions, thinking emotionally... and Trent was looking to Clay to look after the boys holed up in that farmhouse. Clay was hit hard but kept on hammering, never once stopped looking out for his brothers or turned down any task in spite of his own condition. He deserves that promotion we’re gonna see in season two of SEAL Team and if I see a lot of people complaining about how Clay went from Bravo 6 to Bravo 2 over Sonny, Trent and Brock, I’ll be disappointed but not surprised because people tend to be unobservant like that but... damn. Clay fucking Spenser, man.
